
Samaa Wakim
Performing artist, Actress & Choreographer
Palestinian artist from Mi’ilya village in the Galilee, with a degree in Theater from Haifa University. A member of Yaa Samar! Dance Theater (YSDT) and Khashabi Theater, Wakim is currently focused on original creations and is touring with Losing It, a collaborative dance-theater piece co-created with Samar Haddad King, produced by Theaterformen Festival, Khashabi Theater, and YSDT.

Workshops and Activism
In addition to performing, Wakim leads workshops locally and internationally, blending dance, theater, and traditional and political elements. Beyond being a multidisciplinary artist, Wakim identifies as a cultural and political activist.
